So Emily and I are almost the only US citizens in our stream fanbase, so other-region watchers: How does your nation respond to the recent alleged death of Osama Bin Laden? Is there any talk of it at all? If so, are people talking about it?

Most of the people I've been talking to are glad he's gone, but at the same time most of us believe that the U.S took it a little too far dancing in the streets and such. Most of them have been quoting Martin Luther King. My stance, I guess I'm like n__n that he was brought to justice, but at the same time I'm like "weird society we live in where we can publicly celebrate a mans death."

I'm from the states, too.

But I'm hearing less and less about it each day, to a point of where I haven't even heard his name for a couple days. Which is kinda surprising.

Then again, I've spent the past few days in my basement playing games/watching Pokemon with my girlfriend.

Australia was abuzz about it for maybe a few days then we all got over it, people wanted Julia Gillard to make a public statement, i'm not sure if she did, i'd find it pretty pointless and irrelevant for her to say anything about his death, then again I'm not very in-touch with current affairs.
To be honest I think the "fuck yeah" attitude and prancing around the streets screaming USA USA USA is disgusting "frat boy" behaviour, people should deal with the situation with more sophistication although I think most of those displaying such behaviour never fully understood the exact nature or reasons behind the war just that "Muslims are barbaric" which is quite ironic when you take into account their own behaviour towards the matter.
Its not like he doesn't have thousands just lining up to be the next big thing in terrorism anyway but I guess its good to have some justice done for the 9/11 victims.

Well, while I have the same feelings as you Aussies about getting over it pretty quickly, we aren't exactly partying in the streets or anything, but there is a lot of focus on it in media (an episode of saturday night live must've had 5+ osama jokes)

I didn't believe it at first to be honest. Every picture I saw looked so shopped. I mean, I guess, hooray and all that. I didn't go on a binged of OHMYFUCKINGGODWEKILLEDOSAMALETSPARTYHARDPARTYHARDPARTYHARD.avi like most of the country. But that doesn't mean anything though. What if the second our troops come back, there's someone new? Someone Osama was planning on making the leader in case he died? I may be from America, and no offense to my regional family here, but I must say...

What is something you want to improve in your life?

I want to be more confident of myself. I find I'm not terribly unconfident when I'm single but I could use more than what I have.

Also I'm gonna move to Los Angeles and pursue an acting career
